Doncept Webstor by DonFig Doncept Webstor by DonFig
Over the weekend, my nephew handed me a couple of old, broken wrestling figures. he initially wanted me to repair it, but the next day lost interest. I didn't want them to go to waste, so I thought I'll try my hand on doing a custom figure.
I haven't done a Masters of the Universe 'Doncept' in a while so for this, I thought I'd do something different. It's been a while since I've tried sculpting, so it took me a whole day to sculpt with epoxy putty. mostly on the head. I just wanted to do a monster of sorts, but with extra limbs around, I got the idea of a spider type creature and eventually, turned into a Webstor concept.

I think you definitely get the coolest uncle award!

the eyes/head are wicked cool on their own, but I'm also loving the feet. And sometimes it's the little things...the armband/belt/legband matching combo (looks like the 'stones' are the same color as the eyes? even in the shinguards?) really pull it all together! Were those on the original parts, or your own additions?

the stones are meant to replicate his many eyes, yes :) every detail were sculpted including his furry shorts, which is the  most worrying part because they feel like they're gonna snap off. (wish there's a more flexible type of epoxy..)

Wow~~~ This is really well done!  I keep having to look back up at the photo to catch all the detail.
